Transreport, a global leader in accessibility innovation, has been formally presented with the UK’s most prestigious business honour – the King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation – recognising the company’s groundbreaking work in transforming travel for Disabled and older people worldwide.
The award was officially presented on 17th September at Transreport’s London headquarters by Mr Kevin McGrath MRICS OBE DL, the Lord-Lieutenant’s Representative Deputy Lieutenant for Hammersmith and Fulham.
The presentation was marked by a celebratory gathering of Transreport colleagues, investors and board members, strategic partners, and distinguished guests from both the industry and Disabled community, each of whom has contributed to the company’s remarkable growth and impact.
Royal Recognition for Breaking Down Barriers

The King’s Award for Enterprise was announced earlier this year and celebrates Transreport’s pioneering work developing technology that enhances the travel experience for people with access needs.
This presentation comes on the heels of another major milestone for the company – with its technology now empowering over 8 million accessible journeys across the global transport network, reflecting Transreport’s dynamic expansion and accelerating global footprint.
Transreport’s flagship Passenger Assistance (PA) platform is integrated across the entire UK rail network and has been adopted in the aviation sector, with the company now actively working with the hospitality industry to expand its impact into hotels.
The platform simplifies and streamlines the process of requesting and managing travel assistance, connecting customers with businesses and empowering organisations to deliver more inclusive, dignified, stress-free journeys and experiences for millions of people.

Jay Shen, Transreport Founder & CEO, comments:
“Receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise is an incredible honour and a testament to everyone at Transreport. It’s more than just a celebration of our technology – it’s a powerful reminder of the real difference we’re making in people’s lives. We started this journey because travel shouldn’t be a source of anxiety or exclusion for anyone. We’re exceptionally proud of this royal recognition – and we’re only just getting started.
“We couldn’t have done it without the ongoing support of our investors, partners, and most importantly, our end-users. This award strengthens our resolve to keep pushing boundaries and create a more connected travel ecosystem for all.”
Shaping the Future of Accessible Travel
With the momentum from this royal recognition, Transreport is poised to scale new heights in accessibility innovation. Deepening its influence across sectors, Transreport’s technology is transforming how travel and hospitality businesses serve people with access needs.
Jay reflects:
“The future is about creating a seamless, connected network that removes barriers at every touchpoint. We’re excited to lead the charge in unlocking access to travel and experiences for everyone, everywhere.”
